After School Club

After school club is an ideal club for working parents, or those who require a little extra time to get things done without the children.

After school club runs every school day during term time (please be aware, when the school finishes earlier at the end of a term/ half term, afterschool club will not run).

Its costs as little as £2.50 for your child to remain in afterschool club until 4.30pm or £3.50 if staying until 5.30pm. Each child is given a drink of juice/water and a snack of a biscuit regardless of how long they are staying.

Each day, a different activity is provided with a specialist theme week once a month. The theme weeks are published through the newsletter as well as a letter direct to each pupil. Please see the activities and dates using the Theme Week drop down on the left.

Monday – Creative Day

The children get the chance to do lots of messy activities such a painting, colouring, cutting, sticking, making play dough and much more.

Tuesday – Free Choice

This allows the children to choose their own activities such as Duplo, Lego, Colouring, Push chairs / Dolls, Role Play Kitchen, Cars amongst many others toys.

Wednesday – Baking

The children bake many different things from sweet to savoury snacks such as Pizza, Cakes, Cheese Straws, Fruit Kebabs, Flap Jack, and things from different cultures during our theme weeks.

Thursday – Games Day

The children get to choose games to play such as Duck Duck Goose and traffic lights as well as the children introducing each other to new games they have learnt in their classes.

Friday – Free Choice

As it is the end of the week, a lot of the children are tired by Friday and prefer to play at their own pace so we provide a free choice activity and the children can choose which toys they wish to play with.
