Welcome to Emerald Class!

In Emerald Class, our fantastic Year 1 children enjoy fun, hands‑on learning every day with Mr Wilson, Miss Pridgeon, and Mrs Naylor‑Scott. We love exploring new ideas, working together, and celebrating all the wonderful progress the children make throughout the year.

Each week, the children take home two reading books:

• A Reading for Pleasure book to enjoy and share with family,
• A Phonics Book matched to their current phonics level to help build confidence and fluency.

We can’t wait to continue our exciting learning journey together in Emerald Class!
