Welcome to Amethyst Class!

In Amethyst Class, our fantastic Year 2 children enjoy fun, hands‑on learning every day with Mr Carlisle, Mrs Jupp and Mrs Walker. We love exploring new ideas, working together, and celebrating all the wonderful progress the children make throughout the year.

Each week, the children take home two reading books:

• A Reading for Pleasure book to enjoy and share with family,
• A Phonics Book matched to their current phonics level to help build confidence and fluency or a chapter from their fluent book.

We can’t wait to continue our exciting learning journey together in Amethyst Class!
